Everything you need to know about tap2get.app and smart links.
tap2get.app is a smart link platform that creates a single URL for your app. When users click your link, we detect their device (iOS, Android, Huawei, or Desktop) and redirect them to the correct app store or download page automatically.
When someone clicks your tap2get link, our server reads the User-Agent header from their browser to identify their platform. Based on that, we instantly redirect them to the appropriate store URL you configured — Apple App Store, Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, or a desktop fallback.
We support Apple App Store (iOS), Google Play Store (Android), Huawei AppGallery, and a desktop fallback URL. If no platform-specific URL matches, users see a landing page with all available download options.
Yes! Our Free plan gives you 3 smart links with auto-generated slugs, 7-day analytics retention, and PNG QR codes. For more features like custom slugs, longer analytics retention, and advanced QR codes, check out our Starter ($5/mo) and Pro ($15/mo) plans.
Sign in with your email (we use passwordless magic links), go to your dashboard, and click "New Link". Enter your app name, paste the store URLs for each platform, and optionally choose a custom slug. Your smart link is ready instantly.
We track clicks by platform (iOS, Android, Huawei, Desktop), country, and time. You can view charts and summaries in your dashboard. Starter plans can export to CSV, and Pro plans support both CSV and JSON exports.
Free plans get standard PNG QR codes. Starter plans add SVG format support. Pro plans unlock custom colors and branded QR codes with your logo embedded in the center.
By default, links don't expire. On Starter and Pro plans, you can optionally set an expiration date. Once expired, the link returns a 410 Gone response instead of redirecting.
Custom slugs are available on Starter and Pro plans. Slugs must be 3-60 characters, using only letters, numbers, and hyphens. Reserved words like "dashboard", "api", and "auth" cannot be used as slugs.
On Starter and Pro plans, any UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, etc.) added to your tap2get link are automatically passed through to the destination store URL. This lets you track campaign attribution accurately.
